The photo is from the celebration of the 500 years of Brazil, Sarita with Marcele, one of my God Daughters there. This was a wonderful time, her growing up free, bare feet and climbing eating fruit from trees We lived in a sea side village, part of the city where the Portuguese discovered Brazil, the celebrations were amazing. Sarita was one of the angels in the performance... I made the outfit. I am so NOT good at sewing, even the attaching a button isn't my thing, probably because my mum did it all for us.... but the one thing I always found my way with were Sarita's fancy dress and stage costumes....
