Although I’d told her several times not to go into the bike lane yet, she rode ahead of me and turned into the bike lane just as Maggie had distracted me with something else. She turned too slowly and another biker ran into her. She fell off her bike, skinned her knee, and ruined her training wheels. She was more shaken up than hurt, but she was definitely shaken up! She asked to go home instead of to music class, and it took her a long time to calm down.
