Not So Little Man

When did I blink and you shoot up towering above me? It seems as if my baby boy grew up overnight. A few months ago you left us for a few months away to work on your behaviors and you came home a few days ago a man! I barely recognized you when grandpa brought you into the family gathering. You lost a lot of weight and shot up to a freaking 5’9”. Puberty has definitely hit you, your little baby voice is now being replaced by a deeper manly one and those “teen” boy smells are more fragrant on my nose! Your becoming my not so little “little man” now and it makes this mommy sad. Stop growing up so fast!
