My husband had a heart attack last Tuesday evening without any recognized symptoms. This layout is about my departure from the hospital after his failed angioplasty. He was awake and pain-free when I saw him (fully anticoagulated) after talking with the on-call cardiologist. I got into my car, saw this sign, got out, took a photo, got back in, drove home, and googled the lesion the cardiologist had found on the angiogram. Yes, it was just as bad as I remembered from my medical school studies 45 years ago. Thankfully, later on Wednesday, another cardiologist was able to perform successful angioplasties and placed stents. After adjusting meds, P came home on Friday and is doing well today. We went out for a walk earlier and he just returned from his first walk without me. I'm still on pins and needles but scrapbooking is helping. I suspect there will be more layouts about this past week.
Yes, I know about the extra characters in my journaling. I corrected them on my to-be-printed copy but not here. I'm sure you can ignore them.
I’m so sorry about your husband! I’m glad he’s doing better and that scrapbooking is helping. My DH had a health scare recently as well so I feel your pain! The dark background is perfect to portray the lack of sleep you’re experiencing; I love how it makes every color and element pop. Good luck with everything!
Oh man, so sorry to hear about your DH. I'm so glad that he made it out ok though. Glad to hear that scrapbooking is helping Love your dark, moody BG, great pic...good luck with things to come!
