*the rest of the story re No-L
I guess it was in 1985 or 1986 while I was working and we were moving our office from the 2nd floor to the first. My friend Joan and I were getting our desks moved and we would be partners so we were hoping we would have a table in between us vertically so it would form an L between our horizontal desks so we would have more room. We were sadly dissappointed and started singing "No-L" and that became a thing between us every Christmas we would exchange "Noel" ornaments & cards. Joan was old enough to be my Mom, and we were great friends, always laughing. I got married and moved in 1992, we exchanged "NOEL" Christmas cards in the mail, and I would often come back to visit, and I would see her at a reunion type dinner of those we worked with. Sadly I found out she passed away a few years back, but I still remember Joan every year, especially when I decorate the tree! The 2 ornaments in the page are just a few of what Joan gave me over the years.
