- We are crazy about reducing waste in our house. We generate very little waste, as we rarely waste food and we generally use items around the house that can be washed and reused.
Hubby bought me the one-cup coffee machine years ago as a birthday gift - if you know me, you know I can drink coffee 24-7 (although now it has to be decaf..). I love the k-cup format, but not the waste. For a while, we bought recyclable pods, but they were pricey and not always available. We then discovered these nifty reusable ones, so now we can dispose of the coffee grounds, rinse them out, and use them again AND we get to use our fave coffee.
