love the wood-on-wood title with the backgrd (i don't know why we haven't done this in an MOC! it's as cool as White on White and Black on Black!) And your stack of polaroids with the elements layered underneath, as well as that blueprint tag are also cool - DS is doing cabinet making as an elective this year and talks about these kind of tools and i'm glad so far both you and his fingers have been spared! he had a run in with the guillotine being a lefty while doing timber laminating last year but so far, touch wood! all good - hope the shelves turn out fab too - you are not just the queen of scavengers but also the queen of DIY!
@bellbird that's so cool that your DS is doing cabinet making at school! I wish I would have done that when I was in school, although I'm not even sure if my small school had that as an option. I tried to get both of my boys to try it at our high school, but neither of them were interested. Boo! Hope your son makes some cool stuff AND keep all his fingers in tact!
