Description
As I welcome my new grand-daughter into this world, I am facing the inevitable passing of both my mother and my father who are terminally ill. They have been my rock, my anchor, my teachers, my friends. I am not ready to let them go.

We have this hope though... that death is but a passage to life eternal.

Gosh this is so moving, and how blessed you are to have a photo of your mother holding you. It's so precious! When I was pregnant with my first child, my grandmother died unexpectedly. I remember thinking these same thoughts that as one generation fades away, another one rises. Love that soft green on your page. Perfect for babies.

Poignant and powerful journaling, and something to which many of us can relate. My father was dying from cancer as I was pregnant with our daughter, so I can definitely relate.. I like how you created time passing across your page.
