      So @BevG - do you have an extra screen hooked up with the laptop. What kind did you get? I always thought that you couldn't buy an off-the-shelf model that would have the power for doing PS. But you are a tech savvy gal so you knew better. I like the word strip's message - "don't wait for opportunity, create it."

      @flowersgal - The picture is both of my laptops. I don't have an extra monitor as I sit with my laptop in my lap. I usually get the fastest processor & most RAM I can fit into my budget. I have used Dell computers for years and have been able to keep each one for 4+ years before they get just too slow. Specs on new one: i7 processor, 252 SSD, 2TB hard drive, 16GB RAM (at least this), 17" non-touch screen. My programs live on the SSD and all my data is on the hard drive.
