Lovely photos, and yes, food is a great way to get to know the new place.. I live in Switzerland on the Italian border, and encountered far too many tourists who ask for a McDonald's... Really?
@zinzilah - well Americans know where the bathrooms are in a McDonald's and often they are hard to find with no English to let us know. I went to a McDonald's in Dijon, France just for that reason! But I prefer to eat local cuisine and only use McDonald's when nature calls and that's a trusted solution!
Thank y'all so much @KarenC@zinzilah@flowersgal and @Angela Toucan. Getting to taste new foods is one of the best parts of traveling - well it may be tied with talking to the "locals" and seeing what life is like in other places. I LOVE that!
