Thanks! I ended up purchasing the Affinity Suite for their Version 2 release, Designer, Photo and Publisher for a super price of $100 for all three. Photo is their version of Photoshop. No subscriptions. When my laptop crashed in October and I had to get a new one, I was super concerned that Windows 11 would not even recognize my CS5 version. And I seriously thought about Affinity as an alternative but was hoping for a sale... Luckily Photoshop loaded okay, but I picked up Affinity since that was my Plan B all along. To make a long story short, this layout is my first attempt with Affinity Photo. Similar, but different, so a bit of a learning curve.
@mcurtt Beautiful page! I am sooo bummed about Affinity 2.0 - I use the previous version and three months ago I added Affinity Photo to my Designer as a birthday treat... Earlier this month I had to get myself a new laptop and opted for a PC instead of a Mac because I didn't want to buy another Affinity license for the two product I own... and ONE week after I'd bought my ASUS they release Affinity 2.0 which is NOt included in the free updates.... grrrr....
@jam-on-toast You may want to contact them about your purchase. Maybe they will give you special pricing for V2? It doesn't hurt to ask... I was reading their FB forum comments, and a few people commented that Affinity did just that. One person that I remember had purchased a product a couple of weeks prior to the release.
