Journaling reads:
We went to Yamba Beach on this particular day, it was a Sunday and the last day of Winter in 2011. Shayla was
four, Lanaia 3 and little Taj just 7 months old. It was a glorious sunny day and of course Shayla and Lanaia wanted
to just run and play. I can still hear their little girl shrieks as they ran through the water, getting splashed with the
cold water! In the end we had to take their dresses off and let them run around in their knickers as they didn't have
any other clothes to change into. They chased the seagulls and then held hands to jump over the waves as they
rolled into shore, all the while just laughing out loud at the sheer joy of being alive. Little Taj was in his stroller and
he had a big smile on his face as well, feeling the wind in his face and watching the seagulls fly and then land again.
It truly was a magical day, one of my happy places in time. - Yamba Beach, NSW. 31 July 2011.
