How fabulous! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your page and journaling! How special the story is and what your children will appreciate down the road!! Great movies he was part of the all time Classics! The original versions (special effects cheesy maybe but still awesome for the time period) are the best.. all these remakes... UGH! My Grand Uncle was a carpenter for MGM and did the sets for "Lassie".. when they filmed "Tarzan the Apeman" the studio needed someone in an ape costume to carry Maureen O'Sullivan up the tree.. since he was short and stocky, he was it... well I have the movie on VHS, but all you see is an ape... can't tell if it is Uncle Harry under the costume or not... the story though is the part that the family remembers so well.

Thank you for sharing your family history!! I love this type of layout and the Oscar trophy along with stars and other embellishments fantastic.. the picture of your Great Grandfather and the journaling do it for me :) Great page!!

How cool is that? Suddenly the song "the chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one..." is running through my head! Fantastic movie and even more fantastic layout! Love that photo and your journaling is just fabulous. They don't make movies like they used to! Give me the "old movies" any day! :)

WOW!! That is one story going down history lane !!!!

And I love everything - composition, simple & direct title, glittering stars (for THE STAR) !!!

how cool!!! the layout is perfect..but it's the story that caught my eyes!

How cool is this?!  I LOVE your documentation of this aspect of family heritage and story.  Brilliantly scrapped as well!
