Journaling reads:
I'm a walking, talking, breathing soothie to my son Declan. It all started when he was a baby & was nursing. He would play with my diamond stud earring. After we stopped nursing, he continued to play with my earring as he was eating from his bottle. After he was done with bottles, he continued, and still to this day, will play with my earring when I hug/snuggle or sleep with him!

amazing take on this template indeed!!! I am a disaster in combining patterns, so this is like a master class for me!!!! love the black & white stripes one, I think it gives for some reason a lift to the whole thing....the pictures are gorgeous, love your journaling, I think is beautiful that they can find comfort close to mum.... gorgeous page!!!!!!

my daughter did a version of this! she would twirl my hair and nurse ... and then when she got older -twirl my hair and suck her thumb. always. if i wasn't next to her she would suck her thumb and twirl her own hair. so funny! i've never journaled that i don't think - so your page has given me challenge to get that recorded! she's only 14 BTW! :) love this sweet memory of your son scrapped with the awesome template & i love that you call yourself a soothie. so sweet!
