so the other memory i have of this day is the smell and worrying he'd end up with some kind of foot rot infection and that we had to stop to buy new shoes and socks for him after the farm

this is great! i love the candid photos, and the way you mixed it up by framing one, matting one, and leaving the others 4x6. great use of the brushes and elements together to balance out the whole page!

I really like the font you used for the journaling. It makes the page look like a paper scrap. The pops of yellow on the borders and with the bow look great with the grey skies!
