That is so fun! Loved reading how your name came about! I love that no one in your family goes by their given name haha. My daughter was going to be named Molly and we changed our minds last minute to Morgan.. I never thought about the writing aspect!
I love that your family doesn't name kids what they call them! We have a friend like that, some of them make sense - Nora for Elenora; Stella for Estelle; but then there's Wells. His first name is something like Ernest? Molly fits Melissa the same way that Dick fits Richard I love the chalkboard you used and the scattered letters at the top! Thanks for sharing!
Interesting tradition in your family! I've never heard of that. it does remind me of my eldest who was called by his Christian name Vincent at nursery school and he said it wasn't fair that his little girlfriend's name was Emma. She only had to learn 3 letters!
