A bit late to the party, as Memory Pockets Monthly was released last week!!
But this month, I have another 4 part card series for you
As the kit is filled with beautiful stars I wanted to make cards that used stars as much as possible!
Card 1 - I loved the planets, I have a large collection of physical 'space' related stamps. I created a galaxy background and added in stamps from my collection to work with the planets, creating this fun birthday card.
Card 2 - I used a star cover plate die from my stash and used it to die-cut one of the papers from the kit. I love the ombre effect it has created. I backed it with another paper from the kit and used a mix of stars from the kit and stars I die-cut from the kit papers to create a little cluster - the sentiment banner is from the kit.
I can't wait to show you the rest of the cards.
Hybrid is pretty easy to do, especially if you use the printsheets provided in the kit, then just fussy cut or use a die-cutting machine (I have a Brother Scan n Cut aka Big Sexy).
