My son was born in Dec., so this is also his month to month progress :) The journaling reads -
Jan - Private parts chewed out but the mom crying and convinced that she only wants to feed her baby 'the natural' way
Feb - Its about burps and farts in those early months and hating a new five letter word - COLIC!
March - Waking up a 3am in the morning after sleepless nights and absolutely loving to play with an energetic two month old just kicking his legs for the first time
April - Its about waking at 2am (willingly!) to soothe your child, and then staying awake the whole night, WAITING for him to wake up...the first night he slleeps through
May - Its about taking care of his appearance more than yours...oh for that perfect shot!
June -His laughs making you happy and his cries making you sad....life pretty much revolves around him
July - Its about agreeing to baby led wean when you know that every spare minute will be spent cleaning the baby...the floor....the baby....the floor....and yep! at times, the ceiling too!
August - Trying for two hours to make the lil chap sleep and damn! missing him as soon as you hear the first soft snore
September - Its about being moved and bringing on the waterworks when you are feeding him on a normal day (you think!) and he picks up a bite from the plate to feed you back!
October - Its about learning new hobbies like photography and scrapbooking, in your sleep deprived state, in order to capture the everyday, in little time capsules
November - Its about standing sobbing outside the daycare, waiting for him to settle and then still sobbing when he settles and now forgets to wave Mumma goodbye
Dec - Its about uncontrolled overwhelming emotions, the ones you didnt know you had
Beautiful Pallavi! Wonderful 2 pagers, and awesome scraplift! Love the journaling on a path too.. Awesome!

Oh my goodness! This is so completely and utterly amazing! This captures so much emotion and memories and beauty all in one spread. It one of my favorite pages in awhile... mostly because of all that journaling. Your son is going to LOVE this when he's older. The love for your son just pours out of this page! Did I mention I love this? :)

This is awesome! So honest and real.... just perfect! Thanks for sharing and for playing along this week :beat
