Simultaneously the saddest and most hopeful layout I've made in a long time. My literary and creative hero, Amy Krouse Rosenthal, is dying of ovarian cancer; she wrote a beautiful and heartbreaking essay in the New York Times this week and it's all I've been able to think about, so there you go. I've been lucky enough to interview her for a Big Picture Classes class I taught years ago, serve on her book promotion for her latest book (Textbook Amy Krouse Rosenthal, which came out this past summer), and of course fill up our library with her books. I recommend all her books—for grownups and children both—to just about everyone I know.
I used the new High Five kit by Paislee Press to make this one!
