Journaling - After we all toured the Winchester Mystery House, Todd took Mom, Maddie and Benjamin back to our house while Melissa and I went to the Hakone Estate and Gardens in Saratoga, CA. Todd and I had gone years ago when we first moved to the East Bay but it was still lovely in December with most of the flowers dormant. We arrived an hour or so before closing and had a lovely time walking around the garden paths in the light rain and seeing the art exhibition in one of the buildings. Everything so peaceful and quiet. We only had two other groups walking around and they left shortly after we arrived. Photos: 12/27/2022
