This made me tear up. I feel your pain, my in-laws were very hard on me. It's a wonder I'm still married. I love your layering and heart felt journaling.
I don't have the situation that you have, but I can relate to wanting to be a great MIL for my sons and their eventual wives (hoping long time yet - ones 13, and the other is 9). What a wonderful page! Sending a hug as well, life's challenges treat us far and wide, the least we can do is come together for support!

Kay, I am so sorry. I understand, My wedding day was a mess, I tried to hide all my fury from my brand new squeaky clean hubby while his mom made the day horrific! Now, 20 years later I understand that she treats everyone the same and it wasn't anything personal that day or towards me but it took me a good 15-18 years to understand maybe more. HUGS! Be a good Mother in law, I know you will!
