I have a war in my country and I have been "living out of suitcases" (that's what we say) for the second year and constantly travelling between two countries: Ukraine and the UK. It is hard, but I have lived all this with the hope that soon everything will be over. And my country will return to a peaceful life. But unfortunately, my dreams and hopes are far from reality. This means that I have to get used to the peculiarities of life in Great Britain, to get acquainted with the life and culture of this country and, of course, to learn English. That's why this year I will devote to in-depth study of a foreign language. Now I am studying on online courses, watching videos on the Internet, studying with a self-study book. But I realise that this is not enough. My learning should be systematic and professional. That's why 2024 will be dedicated to in-depth study of the language to solve all kinds of everyday issues and out of respect for the people and the country where I am now. Only under this condition will I be in harmony with myself.
