Five summers ago, we picked up our sweet adorable puppy Toby.
All 5 of us went along to get him and we were all super excited to
bring him home. Josh was 16, Abby was 13 and Mollie was 11.
I asked everyone some questions about that day, and here are the results:
What was your favorite part of the day you came home?
Toby- I liked how you all played with me, then brought
me home. I remember being with my furry brothers and sisters,
but I like our house better-- I only have to share food with
the kitty and usually you get her out of my bowl when I
am eating.
I remember riding in a car for the first time on our way
home, and I think it was my first time to have a leash on
when we stopped to run around. It seemed like a long ride,
and I was excited to see a yard I could run in when we got here.
I liked that Abby, Mollie and Josh were all holding me in the
car, and I liked how everyone was petting me ad giving me hugs
all the time. I remember having a little crate under the desk just for me, and I think Canaan wanted to get in there too. I
remember meeting Canaan and he was SO big- I thought he was
my dad at first, but he told me he was my new brother. He was fun to play with, but I am not sure if he thought it was as much fun to play with me!
