Journal [239 words]:
This memory makes me smile to remember it. Your Papa loved his time together with you. He was always quick to grab you if you were cranky, or if he could see that I was slowly losing my patience. This time we were waiting on Main Street at Disney World for the 3 o’clock parade to begin. We wanted a curbside seat so that you and Kayla could have front row with no one in front of you to block your view. We were there way in advance, and you were getting super antsy. Of course it was hotter than Africa so your Papa grabbed you and took you to a nice shady corner. You happily played with his pen that he always kept in his front pocket, and giggled and laughed with him until the parade started. This photo I captured of the two of you is one of my favorites. It was completely candid and caught you both in your natural happy selves. This was the last time your Papa was at Disney World and I’m so glad he got to have the experience with his grandkids. I was thinking about this moment the last time we were at Disney, so we found that exact spot and had to take a photo of you. Although Papa is no longer with us, know he is still in your heart and always remember that he loved you so much.
Oh, this has me emotional beyond words! Your journaling is wonderful. The left side of your page depicts the happiness, the right side, love and respect. Just beautiful. Thank you so much for joining along!
