It is entirely lovely. (Technically, its a bourbon, not a whiskey nor a whisky...but shhh.) I definitely like the custom expressions more than the standard aging for the base spirit. Fun trivia- the distiller is also the vinter behind the wines like Prisoner, 8 Years in the Desert, Locations, etc. The spirits are then finished in different combinations of barrels from his wines.
