the sentiment behind these tags is just awesome - i think my own nonna would approve and i am 100% sure that Anne will love this even more!

This is so great - totally agree with the sentiment here, and what a great way to use the tags to document this! Love the little embellishments you added to each tag.

Wakanda Forever!!! My boys are such lovers of Black Panther and the land of Wakanda! This is the best gift ever and using the tags makes me so happy! Thank you for playing along with me!

Great tag use!! I agree with your plan too... identifying with the main character and seeing strength is so valuable for kiddos

@bellbird , thank you. I'm pleased to have my thoughts documented. I hope that I will be here to tell them what I was thinking but if not, they will maybe see some of it in my scrapbooks.

@Lynnette Thank you. I worked hard to find stickers I liked that supported my journaling. Seems like the Lilypad has a dearth of cute stickers with children of color. The Back in Session kit had the only girl I could find.

@AnneofAlamo with your endorsement, I may need to explore this one myself. I'm not sure that these are the first books my grands will receive so I didn't do that yet but it's now on my list.

@norton94 Thanks. Who did you identify with as a child? My absolute fave was Pippi Longstocking. So strong, so independent, such a problem solver. I already have a layout about Pippi in one of my albums. Later I read literally all of the Nancy Drew books published at the time. They are still widely available but with what I've learned since I couldn't encourage T to read them.

@BLKinOR I loved Pippi too :) There are so many amazing books. Both my “kids” have the reading bug. I too give books for my younger nieces and nephews. I love the monthly editor picks divided by age that Amazon gives. It assures I’m giving something they don’t have yet and also helps point me toward the good ones.
