This day, June 8, 2004, was probably the happiest day of my life. This day was the last time that Michael had to go to the hospital for Chemo treatments. It was finally THE END. The end of pills, spinal taps, IVs, and blood draws. My baby had beaten Leukemia. That night, when his father got home, we let Michael throw the rest of his medication down the toilet. He tore up any leftover prescriptions and was finally done. It was a very happy ending!
the best possible ending i'm sure! love how you celebrated it and documented it here too - the criss crossed papers with the clean alpha title and print are perfect but that photo says it all!
