@mcurtt Thanks so much, Marilyn! My dad started keeping chickens a few years back, so it's my first "try" of eggs from his hens.

I love the grey stripes in combination with the pattern on the bowl. And I love how you photographed the eggs so that the shadow of the upper ones fell on the lower ones. I know if that was my bowl and my eggs, I would probably have spent about 10 minutes arranging the eggs so they were just perfect, and another 10 minutes figuring out which angle to photograph them from. Probably why I don't take many photos!! Love that finishing touch of the tag and stitches too!

This is a wonderful page Margaret! I love the photo of the eggs in that fantastic bowl! How cool that your Dad has hens and you have your first taste of fresh eggs! I love the ink striped paint, the 3 little brads.. the composition.. just fabulous!
