what a fun list Cheryl - you owned a horse. my dream as a girl was to have a pony. my dad always took us to see horses and feed them carrots. funny thing is he is allergic to them and i never knew it until i was older. i always begged him for a horse as a child. but he did it to himself always taking us to see them at nearby farms! i love the way you documented this with photos - really beautiful!
@jenn mccabe I did, Jenn. My grandfather also loved horses and he bought me a total of three of them. He used to take me to the horse track, too. Haha I always wanted to own one that I could have where I lived though. We always had to board them, which is better than nothing, but not ideal. I loved growing up riding. He always told people that the first he sat me on a horse was when I was about a year old. Thanks for the sweet comments.
@DigiGrace Thanks, Grace! Yes, 2 left out of 5 isn't bad. I've been to NYC, but wasn't able to walk out onto the bridge. Every time I see it, I want to go there. I might make it to Assateague someday, too.
