What makes you happy? So many things. You wake up on sunny days and say, “Mom, I’m so HAPPY! The sky is blue and it’s so sunny. It makes me happy.” The little sparrows that come to the back porch to eat the crumbs we put out during breakfast make you laugh. Nature makes you happy. You like happy music so on most days you’re humming and singing some cheerful tune around the house. Your favorite foods make you happy. You like dal & chapattis, monggo & malungay, biscuits & gravy, soft rice noodles in sauce, fried tofu, vegan cookies, my homemade bread, pasta and the unexpected carob candy treat. You enjoy being around happy people like Aunt C, Auntie C, Miss S, Papa & Gramma and definitely Auntie L. A new book makes you happy. You love to snuggle up on the couch or Mom & Dad’s big bed and read until you fall asleep. You’re happy when you’re learning something knew – whether it’s in person or from watching How Do They Do That? with Daddy. But most of all, I’d like to think that knowing Jesus and who you are in relationship to Him makes you happy. What makes ME happy? YOU!
