Oh my gosh, biggest challenge ever! Even though I have Photoshop, if it hadn't been for the video (thank you!!), I could never have completed this. It really didn't look any good on my original background, so I've used a patterned paper to set things off a little better. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd ever go to this much trouble again. My title is from Field Notes wordart *M3 and the rest comes from Outdoors elements and Outdoors papers.
I needed video when I first tried this as well. It did take some time in the beginning, but doing it a few times, it's really not as bad as it seems. And yes, I'm in awe of those who have figured out work arounds as well! You did an amazing job with this and totally nailed it!! I love the photo you chose and the motion you gave it. This page has beautiful motion all the way across! Thank you so much for playing along!
@IntenseMagic Having slept on it, I now think I might try this again, but not on a time crunch. Someday I'll try it on photos of my kids riding bikes, skiing or something similar. What I have learned is that I need to spread the "liquefy" further, way beyond where I think I need it, so I can get even more movement out of the effect. Thank you for what really is a super challenge!
@jaharvey Yes! I am going to go back and try again as well after the madness is over. I just barely learned how to do it before I actually wrote up the challenge LOL. I want to try it on some sports photos and things. You all are totally inspiring me!!
