Journaling reads:
The kids had been asking the entire five years we were overseas for a dog. As much as we are dog lovers and there is nothing like the soul of a dog in your home, we didn’t want to have a dog in Okinawa because we traveled a lot and didn’t want to board a pet each time we left. We kept saying “Maybe when we get back…”. Well, as soon as we started researching breeders for Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we found someone with two girls left from a litter. So, we went from “we’ll have to see” to “let’s drive up tomorrow and meet them!” As soon as we met them both, we knew which one was ours. She picked us! We sat on the ground and let them run around and meet us and Maggie came right up to us and sat in our laps and was so lovey and sweet. The other one was more aloof and not as interested I’m being with us. So, Maggie was the one for us! After an all day drive through three states, it only took 30 minutes to get our new puppy! She was absolutely meant to be ours, she loves it here and belongs in our family. She is sweet, lovable, sociable, adorable, smart, beautiful. She loves toys that make noise, playing with other dogs, going on walks and runs and smelling everything! We are so glad she is ours!

Aw, she is just lovely! Love the photos of Maggie. What a great story about how she came to be yours! Love the soft circle background and the little scatter of confetti. Wonderful page. Thanks for playing along with my challenge!
