Text:This stunning looking building is a hotel, the Chateau Laurier, built at the turn of the 20th century. Looks like something you’d find in the Loire Valley in France. We took a quick looksie in the lobby. Found this lovely photo of Princess Diana on display, taken during a visit during the 1980’s. The hotel sits right next to the Rideau Canal locks which feed into the Ottawa River.

      OMG I recognized this right away. We traveled through there in our boat 2 years ago. Up those amazing locks with that stunning building overlooking the locks. We ended up spending 3 days in Ottawa seeing the sights. Lovely page with the red accents!!!!
