JOURNALING:
I've followed the ice dancing careers of Meryl Davis and Charlie White since I first discovered them as unheralded novices in Cleveland in 2000 (they placed 6th). I attended every subsequent Nationals, eventually watching them win 6 straight US senior titles. They also were 5 time Grand Prix champions, 3 time Four Continent champs, twice World Champions, and they won 3 Olympic
medals: bronze, silver, and, in 2014, became the first-ever U.S. ice
dancers to win the Olympic Gold Medal.
