Last summer we took a family road trip across 4 western states (MT, WY, ID, and UT). One of our stops was Golden Spike National Historical Park. Our teen son found it while we were planning and asked to visit. It was a neat place and somewhere we would have otherwise missed.
For the challenge, the movement is about the locomotives at the Park. I didn't do much research ahead of the trip - just added the stop to our plans. How lucky that our timing included getting to see both of these locomotives move! They have a storage building nearby and bring the locomotives out each morning, then depart at the end of the day. We got to see the departure of both.
The challenge also required at least 4 chevrons or arrows. I have 5: word art arrow on large photo, arrows at journaling, chevron over locomotive photo, arrow journal spot at bottom where kids are raising hands & taking their Jr Ranger oath, and arrow brad at family selfie.
