Journaling: I never would have thought that the last time I would be able to play the piano would also be the day we buried my Grandfather. Technically I probably shouldn't have played then, but it was one of his dying wishes, and I couldn't say no to that. The tears came. Both because I was physically in pain from playing, and also because of emotionally trying to understand that he was gone. It was definitely one of the hardest things I have had to do, but looking back, I wouldn't have wanted in any other way.
