"Je n’ai pas fait preuve de beaucoup d’imagination quand j’ai choisi mon pseudo puisque j’ai tout simplement choisi mon prénom. Après tout, pourquoi faire compliqué quand on peut faire simple ? J’ai la chance d’avoir un prénom peu répandu, donc ce pseudo est souvent disponible sur les forums. D’ailleurs je n’ai pas souvenir d’avoir croisé une autre Nolwenn dans la scraposphère.
Et puis ce prénom me correspond bien, il représente mes origines et ma culture. C’est un prénom breton qui signifie la « blanche de Noyal », Noyal étant un petit village du centre-Bretagne. Mes parents ont toujours été attachés à la culture bretonne et ils ont souhaité donner à leurs enfants des prénoms d’origine celte. Pour moi, ils ont hésité avec Lénaig et Armelle. Leur choix s’est finalement porté sur Nolwenn et je trouve qu’ils ont bien fait. Le seul inconvénient de mon prénom, c’est que les gens ont parfois du mal à l’écrire correctement."

And then this name fits me well, it represents my origins and my culture. It's a Breton name meaning "Pure one from Noyal", Noyal is a small village in central Britain. My parents have always been attached to the Breton culture and they wanted to give their children names of Celtic origin. For me, they hesitated with Lénaig and Armelle. They finally chose Nolwenn and I think they did well. The only disadvantage of my name is that people sometimes have trouble writing it correctly."
