MOC17-Username

OMG! What a ramble....

My online username since the time I started digital scrapping is Amson with a capital A. Most people I know think that my surname is Amson but it isn’t. Amson simply contains the first syllable of each of my daughter’s names – Amber and Sonia.
When starting digiscrapping, I used this name as it hid me from my partner at that time who was abusive. Luckily he was also quite computer illiterate as I would still not have been difficult to find. Amson was my email, my Username at countless online sites and “House of Amson” was a blog at one stage (and probably still resides somewhere out there in digiland).
With my ex passing away last year, I am slowly starting to move away from Amson and reclaim who I am – Carolyn. My emails have all changed and there is not an amson there anymore. My facebook profile has now been changed and is the real me and maybe friends from the past will actually be able to find me now 
The only place Amson still resides is in digiland. I am not sure about changing this username as it is so familiar to friends. I am still undecided. What do you think?
