While the above is not the best photo of me, I like that it shows off the EPCOT globe in thebackground with the brightness of the flower baskets. This was when Mission: SPACE had just opened (Opened in Aug. 2003) and we all wanted to try it with the G-Forces. The attraction photo is blurry.. it was the only one we got to remember it by! Those G-Forces were “real”. Poor Dad, while he loves rides and roller coasters, this one was too much on him. It was hard on us too, but moreso for him with his COPD. The seat restraints came down over our heads but then with the G-Force going up in the air it pressed against his lungs and he was getting really short of breath. Thank goodness he was okay after sitting a spell after getting off the ride, but I believe that was even the last time I was ever at Epcot! I was a little “green” from the ride, but loved it. It was an interesting ride for us and Dad, although a one time experience! Blurry and dark pictures still bring back that memory spark. I am glad we went , but glad that we walked around to the countries afterwards. Bottom line, a good day for all, and one for the memory books!
