So glad to be able to be around a bit, missed you! MOC12- Day 01 : Elements :
the photo blended here we took on the ship in September. I chose water which has been always part of what makes me, it makes sense if you think most of the matter that makes us all is, indeed, water...
I couldn't walk until age 5 after 5 operations (and there would be 4 more to come until age 8) my parents wouldn't let me ride horses or even a bicycle, but they did get me to swim before I could talk (in a time when baby & parent swimming classes weren't a "cool" thing!!!) and my growing up has always been in places between the ocean and a creek or a river, have the greatest love and total respect for big masses of water, and even in smaller quantities...it is powerful in so so many ways... so for the journaling, I chose a quote in Portuguese :
"agua mole em pedra dura, tanto bate ate que fura"
which translates into something like: "water dropping day by day wears the hardest rock away"
I think I see my path in life a bit like that duality...no matter what life throws at me (and many of you know it keeps throwing LOL)... I keep going

Cynthia, what a wonderful page using the large photo of the ocean. So many of us have chosen water and it is as you say we are made up of so much water. Thankyou for sharing all the information about your childhood.
M could swim before she could talk much too, thanks to living in Singapore! This is a great and creative take on the challenge and so happy to spot you in the gallery
Absolutely gorgeous page Cynthia! Thank you, too, for sharing so much of the meaning behind this element for you. I'm hoping that life stops throwing so much at you, or at least eases off for a long time!
This page speaks to my soul. I am a pisces and water lover as well. I love the quote and the negative space here. I'm glad to see your pages here again!!!!!
@MrsPeel Cynthia, this is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love your clustering and the beautiful blended photo. You have been through so much, and are still going through it. You are so strong and brave. I pray for you often. I keep praying that you can have your surgery sooner than a year. I love you!
