Journaling says: I know it's probably cliche but my best friend and the one that I've had the longest would be my husband, Corey. When I first met him I was 15 and he was 17. There certainly was an attraction between us then but what I remember the most about him then (and even now) was the fact that our conversations and sharing were the most meaningful to me and something I had not experienced before then. I am thinking over all the years that I have known him...going on 35 years now...and the thing that has been the most important has been his friendship. When I have something that has happened to me, he's the first person I want to tell and talk to about it. When I want someone's opinion he is the first person I go to. His mind is probably the thing I like the most about him. He has amazing discernment and insight about a great many things. I value his opinion so highly. I think that might be one of the reasons that it's so hard when we are not getting along...he would be the person I would want to talk to about it but I can't! When I want to go on a trip...near or far...he's the one I want to be there right by my side.
