My “heirloom” is a recipe that has been handed down through three generations and is a requirement every Thanksgiving and Christmas for our extended family gatherings. It was originally made by my great-aunt, then my mom, then myself, and now my daughters for their own households.
This is awesome, Margaret!!! Great heirloom recipe handed down! The recipe sounds delicious! It is only the two of us here so I just use the old jellied cranberry for the holidays, but your Aunt's modification so as to not use Jell-O sounds perfect! Love the pineapples and pecans.. I know why your daughters are serving it to their families too!! So wonderful to share this family heirloom holiday recipe for years to come!! I love how you scrapped this too, with those wonderful cookbook templates and the wonderful papers and elements to accent your recipe.. love the 2 photos of making it and the finished dish.. fabulous! Such a clean page, and oh so professional looking like a real cookbook!! Thanks for sharing and playing along with my MOC 11 day 7 Heirloom challenge!
I really like the clean look of this recipe page and how you have differentiated the text box colours for ingredients and instructions. What a special recipe to have handed down.
