for someone who says you are out of your comfort zone, you nailed it here JLynn! I love all the gesso here and the blending and what a fabulous photo of you and your friend! Great quote but I really love the gray bg with all the white paint and gesso.. wonderfully done!! Your vellum 2023 at the bottom of your page is great!
@cfile thank you! it is easier than it seems, but I compare mine to some others here who I think really nail the art style, and I know I shouldn't compare!!
@tinkerbell1112 never compare... AJ is something that developes inside you... it is creative and it is a personal thing. Like all of us are unique, so is our art and our pages Happy New Year!
no comparison, but even if we were competing, this page is a gorgeous sample of art journal....art journal is whatever you want it to be..... even doesn't need to be "artsy" on the sense that you don't need paints for it to be, it was the choice for the challenge but art is what comes from your heart and you want to pu in the page...and this is definitely a gorgeous example of it!!!!!! will try to make more time to come back to your gallery, been missing you guys, so happy I can be around a bit more now!!!!!
