Beautiful page with the large photo on white background. My parents had baubles just the same as these and I believe they were purchased in what was then Malaya (now Malaysia) or Singapore in the 1950's. They are truly beautiful. Not sure that this is where they were made though.
This is absolutely wonderful and so glad you rescued them to have Liam's Grandparents baubles to hang on your tree. They remind me of the old ornaments we had when I was growing up and I still have a few of them packed away, but yours looks like the ones that were on my Grandparent's tree. I love the photo with your holding one, and I really love the clean way you scrapped this. As MaryKate said, it looks like a magazine page! Well done! So glad you got them from the UK to Sweden in one piece (only losing one).. in your carryon luggage no less!!! Thank you for sharing and playing along with the MOC11 Day 7 Heirloom challenge. Your page is fantastic!
@Amson Thank you! It's really cool that you have the background information! I'm sure my baubles have wonderful stories in them too, even though I don't know the stories.
@cfile Thank you and thank you for this challenge - it was so much fun to reflect back on these baubles! Even though I don't know were they came from originally, I figured I could at least tell the story of how they came to be on my own tree.
