What a beautiful and wonderful treasure this is Angela! To have this Christening gown handed down as a family heirloom, and your having the honor to embroider the names of everyone who has worn it. So special. You have scrapped it beautifully as well, Angela, with the soft background and delicate flowers. Thank you for sharing & playing along with my MOC11 Day 7 Heirloom Challenge. Well done!
So beautiful! I love the idea of embroidering the names and dates of birth of everyone who wears this special christening gown! I also like how you used the doilies and little flowers to scrap these beautiful photos.
this is gorgeous Angela, and like Christa said, what a wonderful treasure to have this passed on!!! and the names stitched in silver thread!!!!! so amazing!!!! beauty you created here form a real treasured object and story!!!!!
What a beautiful treasure! I wish I still have my Christening gown (I do still have the shawl, though, like pretty well everything else, it's in storage). I love the idea of embroidering all the additional information on the lining.
