Journaling: A few days into our trip to New York City, we were visiting the Chelsea Flea Market, which was our first stop of the day, and I found the perfect backdrop to take some photos of Thomas in honor of his 16th birthday. It was sweltering out, but thankfully the alleyway was shady and gave us a bit of respite from the sun. After the flea market, we had lunch at Chicken & Waffles, visited the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), shopped at Time Square and ate at Zen Ramen & Sushi. Ian and I also enjoyed a drink on the rooftop deck of our hotel, what a great view!
