MPM Emerge Rachel Jefferies - Give Yourself Permission

Living with you has been hard
Your anxiety started following the unexpected death of your brother from a sudden heart attack. Every pain or twinge you felt made you panic. Somedays it was like you weren’t even in the room I struggled to understand what caused your anxiety attacks. but remained supportive. The mental toll on me was tough....I felt alone. But together I knew we would get through it
Two years on and your anxiety attacks are less frequent. Your slowly getting back to being you, the outgoing, happy and sporty man you were. Yes all your hobbies drive me insane, football boots left in the living room, model painting stuff taking. over the spare room, endless dirty sports kits to wash
But to see you smile again is all worth it.......Because I love you for better or for worse, forever.
Oh this shot straight to my heart. Grief affects everyone so differently and it seems to me that anxiety often goes along with it. I KNOW how hard it is to watch someone in your life suffer through both of these and I am in AWE that you remained optimistic. I am also thankful that you are seeing the man you knew was still there. You are amazing! Thank you for sharing these thoughts and allowing me to remind myself to have a positive outlook. Thank you!
