Over the next few years we heard a lot about Venice, far too many tourists, overcrowded and very expensive, but in the end we wanted to see for ourselves.
When a trip last year took us to Italy, we decided to visit Venice. And what can I say. It was love at first sight. We were fascinated by the lagoon city, with all its facets, and although we have been married for over 30 years now, this trip felt like a honeymoon.
