@dotcomkari , thank you so much! I was lucky today as I took a walk in the old town to find this guy with the kid on his shoulders, dressed in yellow. This inspired me, because they were there, a splash of color in a grey city.
This is really a cool page to look at - so much going on, but laid out so nicely - not cluttered as it would be if I attempted it. I keep looking at it, imagining how you put it all together - the blending of the figures and what was blended with the gradient tool. Just very, very cool.

Today I watched a lot of tutorials, about how to make a sketch from a photo with just a part of it colored, blending tutorials, and so on. I am not using Photoshop, and struggled to apply the Photoshop tutorials in my software... But I am happy with the result and happy as I have learned a lot today.
