oh my goodness Susie.. this is darling, (and so are you!!) and I am so thrilled you are scrapping old photos from your youth.. I was 5 in 1966 and this is just so cute as I think that same year in my stocking I got Pokey and my brother got Gumby.. I just remember how after we played with them long enough, the wire would protrude out of their legs as we must have bent the devil out of the legs etc I love your brother holding Bozo too.. ah those were the days and the best time to grow up. @cfile Gumby and Pokey were the bomb - and I know what you mean about the wires. My Mom would take them when they got to that point and I always cried. She had a new Pokey already when she took them. I really wish our kids today could have the same kind of growing up we did. It really was a magical time.
